A Cup for Royalty

A Caltha palustris ( Kingcup or Marsh Marigold). This is a bog plant and it is a beautiful plant with the greatest yellow colour ever.

I created a bog by digging a hole lining it with heavy plastic and then refilling it with soil. Then I planted a number of bog plants and slowly filled it with water. It worked beautifully. I did this two years ago and now this bog is fully established.

    No not yet. It really does not look like much yet. In a couple of weeks it will be worth taking a picture of it.
