Random flower pics from the garden to-day

Tagetes (French Marigolds) these are members of the Asteraceae (Daisy Family) assorted varieties here and about to get planted. To-marrow.

Tulipa (Tulip) No idea what this Tulip is called, but it sure is nice. These were given to me as a gift, and what a nice gift at that.

Alliaceae or Allium, member of the Onion family of plants. This is a small one.

Primula vulgaris (Primrose) This one is just starting to finish off for the season.

Aquilegia (Columbine) These just started blooming in the last few days. I have several colours of these and I sort of let them go wild in the garden.

I hope you all enjoy these pics. I truly enjoy going out with my camera and sharing what I am so blessed to have.

  3. Thanx Melanie for comment. They always mean a lot to me. Those tulips are now finished, the rain to-day took the petals. Now to look forward to them again next year!!!!!!

  4. Yes Terry the Allium does smell like an onion but in the best of ways. The Columbine does not do well as a house plant at all. I still have a few Marigolds to plant as work is getting in the way of the gardens.
To-marrow after-noon I will get these done as well. I like marigolds as they are so easy to take care of. basically plant them and for get them!!!
