The Queen Elizabeth II, To me the most beautiful of all the Roses
The bud of the Queen Elizabeth II,
Here is the full shot of that rose. I have two of them, this is by far the better one..
The Queen Elizabeth II was the first Grandiflora rose of them all. It was developed in the very early 1950's. Perfected in 1952 and named for Queen Elizabeth II on June 2nd 1953, on her Coronation. It is considered the best rose ever and has the highest rating of any rose. It truly deserves it.
We are having a huge rain storm to-day and I went out in it to get the pictures.
These pics are from damage caused by the storm last night and this morning. Not much really but still, my shed was so new that I did not even have the doors on it yet :(. Any way Tornadoes were seen to be forming but none touched down. A good thing!!!!

The bud looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanx very much and the beauty of it is that there are so many buds on the bush. I will post a couple in a bit of the Rose dried. I just love the rain drops on them. That particular open one just opened yesterday evening
